Bad Liteon DVD Drive in My Xbox Slim (Replacing for Modded Drive)

1st Post. i have a Xbox 360 S with a DVD Drive that won't read. It's a Liteon 1125 and my Manufacture Date in 5/2010 on slim.

Is there anywhere I can just buy a modded DVD drive ready to just install. If not what are my option's? Want to play backed up games on this 360?

have you done any research rather than just quickly posting your problem? their are many threads on replacing dvd drives and what needs to be done, use the search feature on top!

I've never seen a Lite-On 1125.

Do you own the games you wish to back up?

Its a Liteon DG-16D5S

I've been reading all night and I don't want to buy a new drive if there is an easier way to do this as this drive won't read disks? Should I just start off by buying a new Liteon 16D5S drive?

No you buy a TX PCB and from their you're set.

U say that your mfr date of your slim is 5/2010 and your drive is a 16d5s. Are u sure cos they didn't have 16d5s drives until mid 2011.
