Bad pad on J1F1

Ok the pad doesnt look that bad might be damaged.
just have a look under the board at the opposite side of that pad you should be able to run the wire to there

And if pad is bad what can I do to fix so I can Jtag. I get E79 after xel. I have good nand reads with xenon

underside looks good to me from what i can see just jump the wire to that spot

i am using flux. I am a new solderer. But solder does not stick when I try to solder diode at this spot.
ok errrm maybe look up a solder guide and use a 15w iron so you dont burn the board
have you tinned the wire first (put solder on the wire prio to soldering it to the board
ok put flux on the point ur soldering to and a little dab on the tinned wire
put a tiny bit of solder on the tip of your iron and rest the wire on the point so it precisley on the hole
then put your iron on top of the wire and the solder should go from the iron onto the wire and heat it all up flow through and bond it together

Looks like it xmods, but he can certainly try. Other option is use xmods alternate points reference or you could solder directly to the trace but I doubt you'll be able to do that considering you messed the original spot!!!
