Bad Skin Download. Please Help

I am a noob to all this mularkey so sorry for this question. My problem is that i had X3 Config Live working spot on, on banks 1 to4 until i downloaded a new skin for it. As i downloaded it, it said there was an error on the download, and now when i try to get into X3CL the new skin is showing and will not let me get into any of the settings.I then put the X3 bios (3294) on to banks 5 to 8 and the same thing happens. The same skin is showing on X3CL on this bank as well, so basically i cannot change any settings because it seems when i get into X3CL with this new skin it just seems to freeze on that screen.Can anyone help so i can get the default skin back on X3CL.

ftp to xbox find x3config skins folder in e/folder then delete the skin

There is more to it than that slappy. There will be a file in udata and tdata that will correspond to that skin. You will have to find and delete those also. Be patient and look for subtle clues as to which files are the ones you want. They will not be jumping out at you. It will be something like 00facfac00.

Delete the selected file!!!

Hello, it is as simple as ftp into the box, go into your x3 skins folder at or near the bottom there will be a file named "selected" delete this file and the x3 bios will boot with the default skin...I don't know anything about skin files in the udata or tdata folders, but I know for a fact deleting the selected file will force the x3 to boot to the default skin...good luck...happy modding

Got it sorted by doing what DJBOOBY said. It WAS as simple as ftp/ing to the box and deleting the bad skin. Thanks for all the help.
