I'm having the same problem that numerous others are having. "Unknown Flash! Halting". Xbox version 1.2 or 1.3, Xecuter 3CE solderless. Tried the newest x3 bios from Xbins. Tried the combos on on off off off, off on off off off. I've tried all different protection combos and none work. Anyone got a solution for this satanic flash prob?

have you tried changing the switch on the chip to protect? that worked for me, seems they mixed the two up or something
Thanks, but I've already tried ALL protection switch combo's and nothing works. I'm stumped on what to do now...can someone PLEASE help me?
Thanks...got the problem fixed, the screw that holds the chip xapt3r in seems to be stripped so I kinda had to rig it and it seems it wasn't sitting right. So I've flashed the bios. BUT...now I can't ftp to my xbox.
go into x3 bios set up network give xbox static ip like 192.168.1.3 enable http
