bank 1234 doesnt work?

hey,

I just installed my chip with the x4pter 1.6 adapter.
bank 5678 (off on off off) works but 1234 (on on off off) doesnt respond.
As soon as i turn it on @ 1234 the chip goes blue like usual, but i get no av signal.
bank 5678 works flawlessly, what can be the problem?

You have an Xbox 1.6b. This is exactly what you should be seeing as FlashBIOS 3.0.1 (loaded on banks 1234) isn't compatible with the 1.6b.

Boot from banks 5678 and once FlashBIOS is loaded, set the switches to banks 1234 and flash the banks from there.

i use [font=verdana, arial, helvetica]FlashBIOS 3.0.3 and i have flashed 5678 with the x3 bios from the usual place. is this a problem?

ok you now have to flash your backup bank with flashbios 3.0.3 has 3.0.1 at the moment
make a folder call it "bios" place in it flashbios 3.0.3 as well as x3 3294 v16 plus bios
then ftp it to your xbox place it into the c:/ folder
now go into x3 bios config (hold white button while booting xbox till you see config)

in this guide theres a mistake
in guide it says
4. Browse for the .bin (X3 ####.bin) file you uploaded and click it.
do not worry about this after you find flashbios 3.0.3 in the bios folder push A then it will ask if you wish to flash backup bank say yes then once its done check to see if it works (power eject at same time)
