 Well i think i've messed up big time. I put X2 5035 and Evox M7(couldn't find M8) on a disc and flashed my new 2.6 lite. X2 went on bank one and Evox M7 on bank two. Well bank one works (i guess..i get the rox my box thing) but when i use bank two nothing different happens, just standard xbox startup and dash board.... oh and i'm a noob so don't ride me too hard if i fudged up. Any help is most appreciated

Not to sound mean, but who cares about bank 2? Bank 1 works fine with 5035. You should never need to use bank 2. Also, if it bothers you that much, get FlashX, and put flashbios on bank 2. Personally, I think since it is working fine on bank 1, you should just leave it and call it good.

Ok so 5035 will work fine, ok how do i get evolution x on there? I was under the impression that evox m7 or m8 was needed to be able to install custom dash boards and roms etc. If some one could straiten this out for me or point me to a thread that does that'd be great.

ok i've come to the conclusion that i have a bad flash on my hands... hence the normal dashboard and all still being there and there being no way to send anything to my xbox. is there a way to fix this?

What was on your box for a dashboard *before* the flash? It sounds like this is a new install, so if you haven't put an alternate dash on your box then all you'll get is MS dash. Create yourself a bootable disc (tutorials on xbox-scene) or find the Slayers EvoX disc. (Slayers is cheating tho because you don't get to learn much about the process.) Boot from the disc you build and you should now be able to FTP to your box and start dropping stuff on your HDD.

It looks like you've only taken the first steps of many. Installed the chip and flashed it successfully, kudos on that. Now you need to start dropping software on your HDD. The BIOS alone doesn't allow you to do that, you need to boot a piece of software that will.
