Lo

Im not actualy Adam im his mate, anyways...

I fuxed up first x3 install, so a professional chipper did it for me. It boots up perfectly without the bank switch panel plugged in but when when it is plugged in the xbox dosent turn on at all, the blue light on the chip just flashes once, any ideas?

Did you have the switches set to on on off off off? If so, then also check the pins for any bent pins that the switch might have.

Check the connection where the switch panel lead plugs into the chip, I had the same thing happen and noticed that one of the pins were bent.

Look at the black wire where you went under the controller port it maybe crimped or stripped of some of the insulation and causing a short.

Check the cable with a magnifing glass and see if it has any bad places on it.
If you don't have any bent pins, then it has to be the cable
or (in very rare cases) the switch itself is bad.

The only thing the switch is used for are the X3 logo light and the lan and hdd lights.
You don't need it for switching banks, you can do all that in the x3cl screens.
If you don't want or need the lights don't worry about the switch and wait on the
x3cp which should be in stock at the retailers this week.
