Do you know if you can still disable flash protection? Since you are always booting from bank2, why not flash a new BIOS image that has FlashBIOS in bank 1 and a mod BIOS (X2CL 5035, for example) in bank 2? Even tho your switch is broken and defaults to bank 2 you will still load something other than FlashBIOS. Build a 1MB BIOS using X2 BIOS Manager with FlashBIOS in the first two banks and 5035 in banks 3 and 4. (if the bank numbering confuses you see the link in my sig.) Take the file you create and flash it to the chip across HTTP. (I'm assuming here that your FlashBIOS is new enough that it has HTTP flashing.) If your EvoX dash is in one of the defaults that 5035 looks for then you should be back up and running after reboot. If not, you'll see the MS dash after loading the mod BIOS. If this is what happens you will need to make a boot disc so that you can access your box via FTP and drop a properly configured x2config.ini to the root of your E or F drive. You will need to know the location of your EvoX dash and enter the correct location in the ini file, but you should be able to track it down once you have FTP access to your box.
