RGH Banned console, unable to open nand dump in flash dump 360

Someone dropped me a a banned Falcon earlier today to perform the RGH on. NAND dumps compare fine in nandcompare or Jtag tool but when try to open the dumps in Flash 360 tool I get the error popup 'couldn't read file or this Image isn't supported!'.

Never seen this before, is it because the console was banned and files within the NAND got corrupted?

Nothing else has, as far as the owner said to me it was flashed and eventually got banned. The motherboard was clean with no any attempts to solder anything on it.

I dumped the NAND via jtag tool as well as manually via nandpro but still getting the same error messages when trying to open the dumps in 360 Flash tool or creating ecc file.

I will use my other NAND-X now and dump on the netbook and test again before I report back. However this one works fine as I done a glitch hack on a SLim only few hours to get a DVD key and all went well.

Updated from 13599 to 13604, still same issue with newer dumps. Checked in HxD and looks good!!! I'm really stumbled on this one

Might as a last resort use a donor from another Falcon with the same CB!

Glad i finally found someone else having same trouble as banging my head about this. Check post http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=76152
Would also like to explain that couple days ago i did dump the falcon nands and create ecc file but couldn get further than that fo some reason and now i cant dump nands that can be opened in anything apart from hex editors but dont understand them programs as such so left it there. Any updates would be great if poss thx.

How strange as like i said i had dumped good nands only couple days ago and now nothing. Still think its my nandx as formatted my laptop and reinstalled windows xp and only have jtagtool and drivers etc in there. Im gonna try another laptop with another nandx too and see what happens.

If you have a donor nand and the cpu key just build a new clean image and try that..should clear up any problems..Just ignore me if you have already tried this but I read all the posts and didn't see where you have actually done this or said it failed.Cog
