Banned from XB live?

I just started playing Halo 2 on XB live yesterday and everything worked fine. I have a X3 on my v1.0 xbox and booted it with the mod disabled. Late last night I noticed that the red light on the mod display pannel would go out for a while and then back on. This morning I couldnt log onto XB live cause it found out that I had a modded xbox. I was very careful not to log on to XB live with the mod enabled. Anyone have any ideas?

wonder why the external switch led was going in and out...thats wut u meant by red light correct....might be something there....maybe bad soldering the d0 is grounding out or something randomly...other than that no clue

yeah I ment the LED light. I have been playing my xbox for atleast a month with no problem. All the lights stayed on fine. Yesterday was the first time I played on XB live. I dont think it was a coincidence that I am having problems. Also other then not being able to connect to XB live my xbox works fine. I can boot it up with the mod enabled or disabled and play games.

Are upgrade your HD?
Maybe is the reason, some people are especulating about the possibilty of the ban.

got a bigger hdd here....but did u upgrade the hdd after signing up for live....

could this be caused by a poorly soldered D0 point where it could not receive an effective ground at times or something like that? With that flickering of the xecuter logo led's, that should have nothing to do with a hdd upgrade but doesnt mean you could have bbeen baned because of upgraded hdd. Reread the marriage theory and see if that could be why you've been baned.
