Banning and Defenses

I am considering flashing my 360 with Ixtreme 1.2. If I do so, and only go online when there is not a backup in the drive, is there a chance I will be banned? Is there any way to run the original firmware when I am using originals and the new firmware when I'm using backups?

The only way you could do that is you wired in a second firmware chip and installed a switch. You would then have the ability to switch between firmwares.
