GENERAL Basic Noob Questions

hi guys,
m new to this forum soo pls spare me if i ask stupid question as m in a learning curve.... i have a phat xbox30 with a liteon drive having Lt+1.92 and the dashboard version is 13599...n for the first time i am planning to flash it on my own i have a ck3i n a probe 3..via 6421 as well.. m all set to go...but der r few question in my mind...please spread sum light on it

my question is..... is it necessary that i shud revert back to d stock FW,,update the dash n thn go for lt+ 2.0 ?

ALWAYS revert back to stock before applying a dashboard update.
Then update the dashboard to latest, and then apply LT+ 2.0

thanks bro.... once m done vd loading the stock fw... i must connect the power n sata cable of the xbox ???

or i can continue powering it via ck3i..n sata from the xbox while updating the dashboard ?

Plug the drive back into the console when updating the dash, you don't have to put all the casing back together, I never do.

But when updating the dash, its always plugged back on to the mother board on the xbox

sounds like you need to spend some time reading the existing tutorials and the jungleflasher tutorial, if you have already read them. sounds like you need to read them again

use the orig-02510C-1c000 stock fw in the lite on post 13141 folder.

load your dummy into source and the orig-02510C-1c000 into target,then click the spoof source to target tab.

then when flashin back to cfw you load your dummy in source,and the LTPlus-025-v2.0 cfw into target.

if it hasnt auto loaded that for you.

if by chance it aint auto loaded then you need to click spoof source to target.
