Battlefield 4: Naval Strike Xbox One delay - DICE now aiming for "early April"

Battlefield 4's newest water-based expansion, Naval Strike - which was originally billed to launch on 25th March to Battlefield Premium members across Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, PC and Xbox One platforms - has been delayed on both Xbox One and PC, and DICE has stepped in to assure fans that they won't be in for too much of a wait until they can go shoot some motherlovers from the back of a boat. "The team decided to delay the Xbox One version of Naval Strike because they want to address issues in the animation system that hinder players from engaging targets in set circumstances using popular weapon configurations," says a post over on EA's official website.[SUP][1][/SUP]

"We know that many Battlefield 4 Premium owners wanted to play Naval Strike today. However, the team didn't want to release the new content until they believed it was quality content.
"The DICE team is trying to resolve these problems as quickly as possible and hope to release the update in early April for Xbox One and PC," the post continued. "We also want to remind Xbox One and PC owners of Battlefield 4 Premium that they will have two weeks early access for Naval Strike once it's released. Thanks for your continued patience and passion for our games."
Reading into that last paragraph, it sounds like this delay will have a knock-on effect to non-Premium subscribers, to allow those paying extra their allotted time with exclusive content. Poor old Battlefield fans just can't catch a break, can they?
