So, I'm getting straight to the point. I was playing Black Ops on my glitched 512 MB NAND Jasper. I stopped the game, went to get something to eat, and when I came back, the fans were spinning like hell, as I would set Fan Speed 100% in FSD (video image was ok, no strange things on my TV screen, but if I remember right, it was frozen). The console wasn't responding at all, I even tried to shut it down from the front Power button, no response. So, I removed the power cord.
I went to turn on my lights, and my lightball has been burned. In that moment, overcurrent flashed through my mind. When I tried to power on my 360, nothing happened. Now, whenever I press any Power button (and even the Eject button), nothing happens. Not even a red ring, not even a LED glowing.
So, here's when I started to worry. I removed the HDD and I saw my CoolRunner's LED glowing red. Ok, so the 360 is getting power (at least to the point where CR gets his power). I looked at the power brick, orange light all the time. I calmed down a bit, from that moment I hoped (and I still hope) that there's nothing fried on my motherboard. I mean, if my motherboard would be fried, CR wouldn't get any power at all, and the power brick would be fried too (no LED glowing at all).
My first thought was that the NAND got corrupted. My explanation is that my 360 went to a safe mode (explains those 100% fans and no problem on video part, I just can't remember the audio status, maybe just frozen in both cases, but no strange things). When I tried to power on my console, the power network was still overcurrenting (as my lightball fried a few minutes after I tried to power on my 360 again), so the NAND got corrupted. I know, sounds a little stupid, but I just have no ideas. I even searched for my problem, and I found (on this forum) that it could be a fried resistor near the hANA chip.
In both cases, I would get cheap (unfortunately, I can't even open my case as I don't even have a Torx screwdriver, and I have to wait for my modder). But, I ask you guys, could it be worst? I mean, I would like a brand new Slim, but not in these circumstances. What are your thoughts about my problem? Thanks.
