So i installed the COOLRUNNER rev.b on one of the BB Jaspers. The red light on the coolrunner did not come on after i flashed the new nand. I checked the soldering and wires to make sure they were okay and the light still didnt come on. I unsoldered the coolrunner and installed a different coolrunner. Not sure if it was a soldering issue on the coolrunner or not but the red light now comes on, however the Xbox now has 3 red lights flashing. Whats the problem and how can it be fixed?

You will need to get the secondary error code first.

Also how long does it take before it gets RROD? Does the green light blink every 5 seconds?

Have you tried flashing back your original nand and see if it RRODs then?

the RROD comes up immediately after i turn it on and it stays flashing. How do i flash the old nand back? I have the original nand (no bad blocks).

All i know is that i used 360 Multibuilder to generate the image_00000000.ecc, which i assume is the NAND with the XELL image.

Check the light on the psu and make sure it's not red

could be wrong, but Im pretty sure that the console will not even power on if the power brick goes red.

when you say the CR red light would not come on, how did you wire it up? this must have been very wrong for it not to illuminate.

Well the CR powers up now after i did some rewiring. Im assuming that after i took to the CR off and replaced it with another CR, it screwed something up. Light on the PSU is green when it is on.

UPDATE: I reflashed the original nand back in and still flashing 3 red lights. I checked the secondary code and it shows (4,4,4,1) which should be 0001 and that error from what i researched is a PSU problem. I tried a different PSU and same problem. I do notice that once i turn on the xbox, the PSU goes red for half a second, then back to orange.

Question: Does it screw something up if you had a working CR and removed it afterwards?

When I did my very first (per-TX coolrunner) the power brick would go red when I put the DVD drive back in and after rerouting some wires it was fine.

Put some pics up and you will get some help

Here are my photos

Im assuming that its being caused by the FT6U7 area (yellow wire) thats causing the RROD. Need some expertise on this.
