Have you checked the values of the U5B1 and U5B2 mosfets between the fans and the GPU heatsink with a multi-meter?

Yeah and sorry about asking questions that you already answered I was just trying to rule out all the rest.

One thing I would do in a situation like this is to make sure none of the points have been messed up by checking continuity with the ALT points here http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=74992

This will then tell you the problem lies away from the soldering of the CR. (Even though you have removed the wires, you still need to check that those points have not been damaged.)
