hey, ive been thinking about getting LIVE and have a modded xbox, and i want to be able to play some of my ripped games, and from what i've read, the reason that ppl always get detected is because of an altered bios, and i guess a hd cluttered with files, but asuming its pretty clean ......, well couldn't the original M$ xbox menu or watever be altered just to have a link or have a shortcut to watever xbe file u want (like a dashboard) and load it from there, then launch a ripped game without an altered bios, thus not being detected and being able to play ripped games on LIVE........
would that work or does live have any other methodes of detection, and if not someone should really do it.

I still don't understand why the bios can't be made to fake the required information for live.

Think of it this way - you can't fake the MD5 hash of a file. All MS have to do is run a simple algorithm on the kernel and if it's even 1 bit out of place, it'll show.

I'm against Xbox live, but hacking it is not the answer. I'd rather not have this discussed here any more, since people could see it as intent..
