beep then power with no video

installed chip, flashed bios

when i turned on the xbox after flashing the bios, it turns on all leds and beeps and then after 2 seconds it shuts off, then it powers up does the same thing then shuts off after another 2 seconds, then it powers up a third time and the eject button blinks red/green no video and just sits and blinks

i know red/green means bad install or bad bios but ive tried using bank 2 and it does the same thing, tried all combination of switches on the external switchboard and nothing seems to work

i used a bios i got from xbins called X2_v11_1MB, i dont know if that was the wrong bios to load but now i cannot get my xbox to boot even with the modchip switch set to disable

please please help

im not sure what you mean, what i need help with right now is getting it to boot with video, when it turns on i get no video and the eject button blinks red and green, i guess i can take the mod out next

i took out the mod, and the machine is still doing the same thing, so using the troubleshooting guide that means i have bad/corrupted eeprom

what can i do to fix that?

if you have had the bios screen,and are getting this after you flashed the chip you have simply put the wrong bios on the chip,i recommend what booby said the x2 5035 old,if you have only used 1 bank u are ok so give it a go and u will be goin in no time

put chip back in started it up, still getting no video and booting three times after hitting switch one time, only now it flashes orange instead of red, so it has something to do with video/audio pack according to the troubleshooter

i have a second xbox and the video cable works fine, though im gonna get a hold of a second one just incase

Looks like you flashed a wrong 1mb bios, if that's the case, you have no more working flashbios to re-flash. BUt if it's a bios problem, you should at least can boot with the chip disabled. Re-check your soldering and look for solder bridges or splashes and reboot with the chip removed and see if it will boot to M$ dash.

I have the same problem this guy has. except nothing loads. just a black screen (i dont have the hdd or dvd connected yet because i was testing to see if i had done everything correctly). i have 1.0 xbox, 2.6b xecuter.

ok 1st i desolder the filled holes and tried using the pin header. since the header fit in snuggly and wasnt moving around i didn't solder, it was in there pretty good. soldered led wires and D0 yadda yadda worked fine, played cod for a good hour. tried it the next day and i got the 3 start up, shut down. i tried resoldering the d0, no worky, held down the mod chip, still 3 up and down. so i removed everything and started again with wire install. now im stuck, still get the 3 up and down. any ideas any one? thanks in advance

the do wire was being crushed between the board and a screw hole, moved it reflashed bios, working ok now
