got my new x tronic soldering station 2 days ago.
been watching johnnyguns and keil423 videos on every part of soldering so i think i can get this done.
only thing im missing is the right temp. i read that if its too low or too high you can cause damage.

everything i am reading is saying about 625 to 650.
Before i do anything i want to be sure.
Do any of you remember the temp you were at?

That would be a correct temp, I work on the same (330 Celsius= 625 F). Some do it a little higher, some lower, so I think you'll be fine with those temps.

dont be fooled though, you can still easily wreck/burn points or pads/resistors etc if you keep the iron on too long, especially when it's all new for a person.

Good luck.
