Hi.
I need some help with flashing my xbox 360.
I have read most of the Textbooks Guide to Hacking the Xbox 360 and i know how to open my xbox and that my drive is Hitachi 46D.
I have had so much trouble whit the stata cable be cos i dint have any idea what it was til now i know that i have 2x sata ports on my motherboard and in the Samsung section in the tutorial i saw how to check what kind of sata i had by going Start > Run > msinfo32 > Components > Storage > SCSI and i saw
Manufacturer (Standard IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers)
and in the the tutorial i read something about i should not look for IDE but that is the only thing i found so does that mean i cant flash with my motherboard sata?

i used my onboard sata. Im pretty sure most if not all of the SATA chipsets work with the hitachi 46/59 but 78s are another story.
Also if you are uneasy about using the sata on your MoBo just buy a SATA to Usb adapter and those work with hitachis, As long as u use slax 2 for modeb.
