the obvious advantage of a jasper is the 150 watt power usage
least likely of the phats to red ring in the future

I highly recommend that you get a Falcon. Although Jaspers are the least likely to have red rings (due to overheating) in the future, they take FOREVER to glitch. For example, I glitched my 512 Mb Jasper and it took about 1-2 minutes to start. I did the capacitor fix and it boots quickly but the SATA, USB, and Network Controllers wont work.

Falcons are more likely to red ring but not if you keep them in an area with good airflow. They are also more likely to glitch (instantaneously if you solder well enough)

rubbish. my jasper boots every time in 2 seconds. rrod is nothing to do with overheating and a falcon is as unreliable as any xbox prior to a jasper for rrod. jasper is the best console all round to own and glitch when done properly and ask any repaire how many jaspers they have seen rrod and it will either be none or the odd one for something other than the normal xbox faults i guarantee. only good thing about glitching a falcon is it gliches with a less particular setup so any wire route etc will work, jaspers just need it at optimium on everything to achieve the same, good connections, away from coils and cap if required= instant boot.

My jaspers ok on boot times, 2-3 seconds 99% of the time. Martinc did it for me and he was gutted it didn't boot faster, by the time I find the tv remote in my house, its always waiting for me.

Probably the biggest dogshit nonsense post of the day. I recommend that everyone ignore everything this guy says as its absolute nonsense.
