Messed up big time.
Had benq flashed with LT+1.9, then updated dashboard to 13599.
After about 2 minutes turning xbox on, the 2 red rings appeared at 7 and 10 oclock position.
benq became stock FW.

Flashed it to LT+2.0, put back to xbox.
Red rings disappeared.
Updated dashboard to 14604.
Turn on xbox, after 2 minutes. Same 2 red rings appeared.
Benq became stock FW.

Red rings remained since. Tried several other older FW without success.

Can this BENQ be saved ??

Any help would be much appreciated.

this is likely not due to your flash

2 RROD means your xbox is overheating

My box has not had overheating issue. I thought that by doing things out of sequence, ie, flashing BENQ, then update dashboard (should be update dashboard, then flash BENQ with LTplus), the dashboard caused the xbox 360 to have 2 red lights.
Each time, I put BENQ back to xbox, BENQ became stock FW 04420.

Have you, by chance, checked that you haven't knocked one of the fan power cables when you put the drive in. As joesinger says those two rings are overheating issues so, if it were me, I would be checking to see if something has either broken or is not working inside when I took the drive out and replaced it. Check that the fans, the funnel and anything to do with the cooling is working. Might be worth turning the xbox on with the case removed to see if everything is working / spinning up correctly.

I will try these suggestions.
I will also flash to 1st original firmware, and see if it fix the light.
Thank you all.

Yes there was heating issue as you said

flash BENQ to the very 1st original firmware (source and target FW has same OFW, then spoof, then write).

Used a fan to cool xbox (without case) to cool GPU sink. PUt Benq back to XBOX.
No more 2 red lights.

Next flash BENQ to LT plus 2.0.

No more red lights.

Thank you much!. Thought BOX was dead.

The red lights will come back. It has nothing to do with the flash.
98% of the time, it's a cracked solder joint underneath the GPU = reflow or reball

Yes, 2 red lights came back after playing 30 minutes. Even with external fan on.

Don't know who can do reflow service.

Guess need to play box without xbox case for now.
