BENQ Benq 64930C Need Quick Answer

I'm flashing a benq 64930C and want to flash to stock so i can update with latest update via usb but what stock do i use as the 360 has dash 2.0.14699.0.

You already have the latest dash, use stock firmware from the POST 13xxx folder.

Ok there are many in there ranging from -a030 to -e030. First time i've done a benq.

Dump the current firmware (you need to do this to get the drive key anyway) and check the key location.... it will say something like Key @ A030.

It says 0xE040 but can't see that one in stock folder.

I've flashed it to lt2.0 but my XGD3 backups are not playing. Why

Could be a number of reasons (weak Laser, bad burn ect ect) post your JF log also do your XGD2 back up work ok?

Yep XGD2 backups work fine and the backups are burned fine as they work on my slim.

My friend never goes on live and i thought the DAE.bin thing is only done by update via live.

this 360 has updated via disk or usb stick the DAE.bin is not updated.

I've just updated the benq to LT+ 3.0 and still don't play xgd3 backups, just says unsupported disk but all others play fine. My m8s cousin has the latest dash but said he has not updated the dash through live so any ideas why this happens.

all xgd3 discs (and other ap2.5 games) will need to be reburnt after patching the iso's with the new AP2.5 topolgy

The silent update came on dash 13604 if he has the latest dash on it id say its got the updated file on. His xgd3 back Ups need re ripping / burning.

I thought this only happens if updated by live and not via downlod to cd/usb stick unless he has lied to me.

My friend said he does not have xbox live and i thought the silent DAE.binhappens through live only or am i way off base and its the dashboard update itself doing this.
