That is a tutorial on how a BenQ drive is dumped/flashed. However there is no hacked firmware for it yet and it won't be released until after the fall update from M$. (Please don't ask when that is, no one here works for M$ so we don't have any idea when they are going to release the fall update.)

Currently all you can do with that tutorial is dump the BenQ firmware to get the key, and then use that key to put a Samsung or Hitachi drive in the 360 that had the BenQ.

Do you think there will be a way to flash the BenQ drive down the road without the need to solder?

Yes, it is already here. It has been confirmed that there is a new dosflash where soldering isnt required. Give it time, and it will be out, along with iXtreme fw for benq's. :)

Schtrom (creator of dosflash) PM'd me on XBH and confirmed it is working without soldering. He didnt state when it would become public but it may not be until the BenQ iXtreme fw goes through beta testing. That should start this weekend, if everything goes well on c4e's end. He may also release it before that, once it is tested sufficiently to ensure it is working properly.

That is all i can tell you at this point.

This is really good news for us BenQ drive people. I hope everything runs smoothly for them.
