BENQ dvd key not found?!? please help

I have a Benq that is proving to be very stubborn... my original drive died on me so I bought a replacement benq... flashed the drive with the previous drives dvd key... but now in JF showing DVD key not found and when I boot up my xbox it just reads open tray on every type of disc I insert... please help asap... i am at my witts end with this drive

benq don't verify on inquiry like other drives. If it doesn't play discs it is a laser problem most likely

In the case of a spelling error, I blame Tapatalk.

i am going to try to adjust the laser inside it and see what it does... any tips on this?

Search or google, pot tweak benq would get you the answer you need. A tip, dont tweak to much at a time, to much and you burn the diod.
