Hi, first excuse my english, please. Days ago after I read tutorials I finally got my xbox 360 (benq drive) flashed. Reading this forum was a big help.
A friend of mine, has an xbox 360 arcade benq, too, but his was previously flashed possibly with LT. He got an update error with a wave 13 dvd. Then xbox only sends the error message and no update by pendrive was possible. He asked me if i could help him.
I have tried to flash it with Jungleflasher 1.88 and LT 2.0, following Jungleflasher 1.4.4., but i always get a key something like FFFFFFFFFFFFF. I tried 5 times and got the same. I haven't proceed to write because I suposse it is not a valid key.
Now my friend tells me his benq drive was a replacement.
I searched and found this post with a very similar issue http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=50141&highlight=benq+key+multiple and other post like that but the problem is that we have no dummy.bin, key.bin, etc, of the original drive to spoof.
Is there something to do to fix it? Can someone please help us?
Thank you.

Dummy.bin is for liteons.
If you don't have the original drive to get the key off you will need to do the reset glitch hack to get the CPU key and use this to get the drive key.

This involves soldering and purchasing a coolrunner. Have read up in the forums about it

Thanks for answering. I will read about the reset glitch hack even it sounds maybe too complicated for me. Just one more question, maybe too noob one: if I flash with that multiple F key, would I get a brick, or there is a chance it works?
Again, Thanks.

the multiple F key is what comes standard with the CFW , you are supposed to spoof your key to it before flashing...do you have your OFW.bin file at all

post your JF log too, it might help us see where you are going wrong

Can your friend (or you) contact the person who originally flashed your friends drive?

You need the Key before the drive will work in the console :frown:

People have fixed this problem by flashing the drive with the wrong key (spoofed to Pre13146 OFW) then continued with the update and mysteriously the drive has been re-flashed with the correct key :eek2:

I am not joking or messing with you this has been tried and confirmed several times (doesn't work every time :mad2:) and there is a thread about it on the forums :p

Other than that without the key your only option is to try the RGH as explained above

sounds to me like you have erased the drive before saving orig fw and just written the Cfw without copying your data across to Cfw before flashing.

Wouldn't mater if the drive has been replaced you would still be able to get the key from it.

By the sounds of it you have screwed your mates xbox up. Only option is to get into your keyvault. but yes it is a bit complicated but there are plenty of people here that can help you if you don't mind sending them your console and shelling out some dollar.

There is NO chance it will work with the key all f. Otherwise flashing Xbox 360's would be a whole lot easier

thank you all for your answers. In a while I'll be at my friend's home, where the pc is. I'll post the log.

Fortunately, my friend founded the original firmware .bin in an old hdd of his. Then everything was much easier.
Thank you very much for your help.
