So I tried again with no game in the dvd, booted f8, jf as admin, with tray opened, wit tray closed, mode b on, mode b off. still no drive detected.
Mode b doesn't need to be toggled for benq drives does the xbox still detect the drive ? Try hitting benq unlock to see what it does

Use a different sata cable is this the first time you used USB pro v2 do you have another drive to make sure it ain't the USB pro and can be only USB pro or sata cable since you ruled out DVD drive works

Before, it opened quickly, and after selecting 0x0000 port, it took some minutes to say no drive detected, although it saw the x360. Now, it also takes some minutes to open jungleflasher, and works very slow

I tried the half opened thing. I thing I am doing something wrong.
Btw, I don't think it is normal to take linke 5 minutes for jf to open, and the same amount of time to search again the 0x0000 port for the dvd. After that is says no drive detected

First thing you need to answer is this - You never answered BL4K3Y about if you are using a 12v power source. Are you using a 12v power source with the x360usb pro v2? Second, I want you to tell me what cables you have connected to the x360usb Pro v2 and where they go. One cable at a time.

Side note: Use the team xecuter guide to working with the benq dvd drive. This info is also in the JungleFlasher documentation that you get when you download JungleFlasher. Which version of JungleFlasher are you using?

I use the latest jf.
I connected 12v from psu to x360usb, usb cable from x360 to pc, sata cable from dvd to x360usb and power cable from x360 to dvd.
I'll try everything from the beginning. I'll uninstall the drivers, delete jf and do it again. Also, you guys always say "install jf". Is there an installer or just download jf and copy that fil to root?

For JungleFlasher you don't have to copy it to root but you are correct to open the .rar file and extract the contents to the directory of your chosing.
After you delete the JungleFlasher folder and the x360usb pro v2 drivers, shut down your computer. Wait a few seconds, turn on your computer.
1. Clear your computer's temp folder.
2. Verify the switches are in the correct spot using the x360usb pro v2 switches guide link. Verify the switch to the power is turned off at this point.
3. Follow the X360USB Pro v2 drivers guide link.
4. Extract JungleFlasher to a different location on your computer.
5. Follow this guide to prevent needing to do the F8 disable driver signing all the time.
6. Unplug everything from the 360 dvd drive, x360usb pro v2, and 12v power.
7. Plug everything back in starting at 12v power (if you are using 12v external, make sure you unplug it from the wall and firmly plug it in again. Then unplug from the external psu and firmly plug it in again. Then unplug it from the x360usb pro v2 and firmly plug it into the x360usb pro v2). Then plug in the dvd power cable to the x360usb then dvd drive. Plug in the sata cable to the x360usb then the dvd drive. Then connect the USB cable to the x360usb then the computer.
7. Verify you have the dvd power cable hooked up so the green wires are facing up while the x360usb is upright and the dvd drive is upright like the tutorial shows. The red wires should be facing down.
8. Right click on JungleFlasher.exe and click run as administrator.
9. Now try to run through the jungleflasher tutorial. If you still have issues, check the 2 other stickies in the same location where you found the TX guide for flashing firmware to the benq. There is one called troubleshooting as well as videos of how to perform the tutorial for this drive. After you try that exactly as I've listed get back to us and let us know how it went.

What exactly are you using as your 12v power source? a desktop computer internal molex, external psu, or something else?
