For JungleFlasher you don't have to copy it to root but you are correct to open the .rar file and extract the contents to the directory of your chosing.
After you delete the JungleFlasher folder and the x360usb pro v2 drivers, shut down your computer. Wait a few seconds, turn on your computer.
1. Clear your computer's temp folder.
2. Verify the switches are in the correct spot using the
x360usb pro v2 switches guide link. Verify the switch to the power is turned off at this point.
3. Follow the
X360USB Pro v2 drivers guide link.
4. Extract JungleFlasher to a different location on your computer.
5. Follow
this guide to prevent needing to do the F8 disable driver signing all the time.
6. Unplug everything from the 360 dvd drive, x360usb pro v2, and 12v power.
7. Plug everything back in starting at 12v power (if you are using 12v external, make sure you unplug it from the wall and firmly plug it in again. Then unplug from the external psu and firmly plug it in again. Then unplug it from the x360usb pro v2 and firmly plug it into the x360usb pro v2). Then plug in the dvd power cable to the x360usb then dvd drive. Plug in the sata cable to the x360usb then the dvd drive. Then connect the USB cable to the x360usb then the computer.
7. Verify you have the dvd power cable hooked up so the green wires are facing up while the x360usb is upright and the dvd drive is upright like the tutorial shows. The red wires should be facing down.
8. Right click on JungleFlasher.exe and click run as administrator.
9. Now try to run through the jungleflasher tutorial. If you still have issues, check the 2 other stickies in the same location where you found the TX guide for flashing firmware to the benq. There is one called troubleshooting as well as videos of how to perform the tutorial for this drive. After you try that exactly as I've listed get back to us and let us know how it went.
What exactly are you using as your 12v power source? a desktop computer internal molex, external psu, or something else?
