Benq spoofed as liteon. questions for 2.0

So my xbox has a modded Benq VAD in it. It originally had a Lite on in it. I want to use jungleflasher to upgrade to the new 2.0 firmware. But I am somewhat unsure what steps to take. Do I need to put the lite on back in before downloading the new dashboard? Or can I do it with the Benq in it? Do I have to flash it to stock firmware first? I would love it if I could update to the new dash without using the lite on.

Also as a side question: after opgrading to the 2.0 firmware hack you are not allowed to use a Forza 4 backup. But could I still use the original game?

You need the lite-on in the xbox to apply the update. Once the update is applied you can spoof the benq as the lite-on with 2.0

i think by now we have well established that spoofing is very bad

if you aren't going to put another drive inside the xbox, you might as well just copy your key to the firmware and not actually put the "spoofed as" in the firmware
