Hi guys , what would you recommend in using when flashing a sammy ms25 and a 28 . Extreme 52a ,b ,c, ,d whats the most reliable as in playing backups , many thanks carlos! :lol:
i personally use B because with a non-pressed disc (a burned game) the media is just nowhere close to the same level of precision so more stress is put on the laser. If running on A the laser is worked and could possible break. There is a less of a chance of problems with B and its quite. As for C and D thats just some thing about swapping originals and backups you can try it if you want but its probably best just to stay in B.
Well it's down to you if you want a dual speed or a single speed use the readme that comes with the firmware. plus it depends if your using good media or not.
imo 5.2C is a good all rounder
FOr Xtreme 5.2C default backup Read Speed is same as original game disks 12x. When Original Game disk is booted, all subsequent backup loading will be at Quiet/Slow Read mode, Original Game disks are unaffected. Turn console off/on to reset back to Default backup read speed (12x). Quiet/Slow Read Speed is for quiet operation and/or cheap DVD+R DL media.
