I have my spanking new 360 in pieces on my kitchen table, it has a Samsung MS25 drive. I have been reading the tutorials for the past few days, and I can't figure out which flash method I should use. I have the Extreme 5.1 firmware (I am going to use version B, the 360's drive noise gets on my nerves) downloaded. I will be flashing the drive from an Intel 865-based motherboard (ICH5R SATA controller), so I'm not worried about compatibility. Now I just need to decide how to flash it. Textbook's PDF tutorial (very nice) describes using the Xtreme boot maker, but the tutorial hasn't been updated in a while and it seems like Maximus' toolbox would accomplish the same thing with less input on my part, meaning less chance for me to screw it up. For Maximus' toolbox, I was going to use the video tutorial on the front page for the Hitachi 78 drive, though of course my drive is not the same. Will that work? Any advice would be helpful.
