So of course i am the best modder there is... feed back on xbox scene... so a customer comes in today and killed his eprom setting with media center... so i think to myself no biggy... i used the wonderful X3 backup eprom feature... on his 1.0.... well to my dismay it dont matter? why cause i couldnt see sh*t anyways... so i had to install my Smartxx chip and reflash the eprom with my own to one to get his sh*t working again... please fix this before i have to keep swapping out the chip or just recommend people to buy a better chip.
best idea yet! back up eprom sucks on X3 so fix it!

I kinda agree with some of that. I backed up my EEPROM and then when it went bad on my xbox, the one on my X3 seems to have also gone bad because when I restored the backup it didn't fix the problem.

yah i backed up my eeprom using the ftp server on the bois, non of this sh*t happened, no problems at all
