Best way of soldering DB1F1

Or, since the diode may be too rigid, connecting a cable at the diode's end, and soldering the cable to the DB1F1?

Sorry but you're not answering my question at all. I know the turorial way, and im just looking for advises on why one way over the other; diode vs cable.

as for your question the choice is yours, i personally dont use the db1f1 point. in the past when i have i have soldered the diode direct.

no, i use the smc patch and solder the diodes and wires to the bottom of the board.

yep thats the one. you have to patch the nand dump but MaK's guide shows how.

It doesn't really matter where you solder the Red wire. You can solder it on the top side as well as on the reverse side

Im a bit confussed on this. Which is the proper tool to dump and flashing the nand? NAND PRO v2.0d or JTAG TOOL? And what the other one tool does, so?

Does I need freeBOOT ToolBox for anything else?

nandpro is for manually reading/writing the nand.

jtag tool does it all for you.

i personally prefer to do it manually though.
