I'm quite new to the whole CFW thing, i directly started with 7.0.1 / SXOS 2.6.
I#m actually use SXOS 2.6.2 on Firmware 7.0.1 and EmuNand as files on SDCard.
What is the best option to update to SXOS 2.7 on Fimrware 8.0.1?
Update SXOS, restore Nand Backup, remove SDCard, Reboot to OFW, normal update to Firmware 8.0.1, reboot to SXOS?
Or would you recommend to Update offline with ChoiDujourNX according to the guide https://team-xecuter.com/community/...ine-nintendo-switch-with-choidujournx.128170/ ?

ChoiDujourNX would be my recommendation.

I am one that doesn't care about fuses so I do mine a little differently, at least when I did 6.2 -> 7.0.1. Update to latest SX. Boot into SX menu, turned off auto rcm. Removed SD card. Booted up OFW regularly, stopped any app updates, did system update the normal way. Rebooted, again stopped any app updates. Shutdown.
Insert SDcard with firmware extracted, Dongle and jig, boot to SX menu. Boot CFW on emunand, Launch Choi, do the firmware update but I actually turned off autorcm during install (fuses already burned anyways). Shutdown. Use jig and boot into SX menu. Options and turn on AutoRCM. Boot into CFW emunand. Now both sys and emunand are on latest firwmare. With all that being said, I know I did mine differently than many because I don't care about fuses and I might have done a step or 2 extra that I didn't need to, but that is what worked for mine and 2 friends of mine with no issues. I plan to follow these same steps when I do 7.0.1 -> 8.0.1 this weekend.

As always, make sure you have a backup of your nand before you do anything and I would recommend making another backup of it once all is updated.

just update offline using ChoiDujourNX if you don't want to mess with sysnand, it shouldn't take more than 3mins on hidden partition emunand, not sure how long SD files emunand takes
