Big D0 problem...

i've resoldered my 2.6CE a few times. Messed it up once or twice. But the solder point on the bottom of the mother board is now useless. The tinning came off with the last desolder. So now, no solder will stick to it. The D0 on the front was fragged to hell when my friend was installing his solderless Xenium. Is there any other way to get that d0 wire hooked up? Solder it to a screw point maybe? Or does it have to be soldered to that d0 directly?

I'm really lost here, guys, and I need this chip to work, bad. Any help would really be greatly appreciated, I don't want this chip to be useless to me and have to go back to a softmod.

i'm still a rookie when it comes to soldering, but I know that I need a metal point to solder it onto. Just really desparate to get this working again... I shoulda left it alone when it was working, but my mobo was being a bitch. Anyone else have some suggestions?

You could solder it to the wire. Or you could use the top D0 point. Taping will work for a while, but eventually you will have to fix it.

Take your time. Don't use a soldering iron hotter than 15 watts. Don't hold the iron in the same place for too long.
