I think i may have fudged this one up

i was trying to flash my chip, and i mis-flashed, so i changed banks, and went to reflash the mis-flash, and i somehow mis-flashed my good bank.

whats left for me to do

If you're using a 512k BIOS, then you can't flash over bank 2 (the good flash). What size BIOS did you use?

if you flash over both banks then you have to do a hotswap or buy the x2 progremer

How do you find out what size BIOS you used?? You check it on your PC!! You must have either burned it to a disk or chosen it for HTTP flashing, so just right click it and choose properties..

you can get them from xecuter sellers or modchip sellers

www.themodchip.com is clearing out some of the older X2 programmers for cheap. $2.50 each I think, not sure what shipping adds on. Great deal if you live in the USA, or whatever shipping area they cover.

While these are older programmers they still work fine with the 2.6 chips. I've flashed three X2 2.6ce chips on this last gen programmer myself.
