Hi all, just wondering if anyone could help me out on this one.

I have a version 1.6 crystal with a xecuter 3 installed.
I installed chip, turned on and get the bios flash screen 3.0.0
I then flashed through network with v3.0.3 with switches like so (ON ON OFF OFF OFF)
Xbox then automatically switched off like it should but everytime i turn on i get the flash bios screen with 3.0.3 at the top.

I cannot load any cd/dvd with evox on and if i turn the chip off i get 3 turn on and turn offs then the eject flashes red and green and the screen is blank.

To me it seems as if it cannot access the hard drive.

Someone please help its driving me crazy. Thanks[/b]

What BIOS are you flashing to the chip?

"and if i turn the chip off i get 3 turn on and turn offs then the eject flashes red and green and the screen is blank"

I would check the soldering for this one.

lite-on dump, trace lifted + other stuff

Hey all, I was practicing on a spare lite-on drive, it was a 7XXX model.. Anyway, long story short, after removing the wires and stuff, I lifted the trace right off the board, the one connecting to pad 101.. is it ok if I just solder directly to it, to connect it again? I dunno, may seem like a dumb question, I'm just making sure.

Also, while it was all hooked up I had a hell of a time getting it to dump correctly.. I did manage to dump it twice, but both times it did this:

Code:
Sending Device ID request to port 0x0970

Manufacturer ID: 0xEF

Device ID: 0x11

Flash Name: Winbond/NEX(W25P20/NX25P20)

Flash Size: 262144 bytes

Getting Status from port 0x0970

Serial flash found with Status 0x72

Lite-On Dump file saved to C:\Documents and Settings\Chris\Desktop\JungleFlasher v0.1.72 Beta (101)\Keys\lite-on dump test\Lite-OFW2.bin

Loading firmware from buffer

Parse Failed !

I also try to load the dump into JF, and it tells me parse failed. Did I not dump it correctly? Thanks for any help, I'm new at this sort of mod and I think it's pretty fun.
