GENERAL Bigger HDD

You do have a Jtag, right? Then don't you see that you can use the 500GB HDD to backup your games via XeXMenu or FSD2?

I have the jtag, being a total noob I'm not sure what I see in FSD. When I go to file manager I see that the xbox has created a directory called Xbox360 - I assume this is the 16GB? and the rest of the drive is still there for me to put stuff on as USB0: in my case ?

I see now that the drive size is displayed at the top of the file manager is FSD....

I was going to, but then I read the tut about the drive needing to be the smaller type to fit in the housing. All the ones I saw were either not big enough (capacity), or the 12.5cm type.

I have 10 500GB sata II 300Mb/s lying around from some old NAS' I decommissioned, so with an old 3.5" IDE & SATA docking station I have, I figured I'd save some dosh and use the drives for that.

Due to their low price these days & small size (well for NAS anyhow) I was having trouble finding a use for them.

Which brings me to another question if I may - how many hard drives can you fit ? Can I have one in each usb port - and if so how about many per port via a hub ?

PS I really do appreciate all the excellent help I have received on this forum - you Rock !!

^ I haven't tried connecting more than 2 USB devices at the same time(never had the need for it), so can't tell you how many would work at the same time. But I think that 3 devices should work fine at the same time, with one connected to each of the USB ports.
