Bios Boot problem

I have v 1.0 xbox with xecuter 3CE, used a dvd-r to flash it with the newest X3 bios, made sure it was correct version for my version xbox and now when i go to boot it just cuts on and off 3 times then stays on and eject button blinks red and green. Backup still works, but when i try to reflash it just repeats. What did i do wrong?

Which bios have you got? The latest bios is x3_3294 and don't use the x3_3294 v1.6 on your xbox as that will cause the problem you are having.
If you have the right bios then make sure you are using a 1mb switch setting before you flash, you can boot from backup bios(power and eject) then change the switches to on on off off and protect off then use your disk to flash it.
The only other thing to check is your soldering especially around the pins 13 and 14 as these are only used after your chip has been flashed.
