I'm am currently running with an intel 82801 GR/GH Sata RAID controller and I am using the Samsung ms25 drive flashed with EXtreme5.2a. I am having trouble having windows find the drive. I have unplugged all remaining drives and the ms25 is found in the BIOS, but when I boot to windows it is not found. I have already tried hotswapping with the enable0800 but I received nothing. Any other suggestions would be help full. I am a full fledged geek at trade, but this is my first modding experience.

Aiight me again. I cannot flash my drive now either. Intel Storage utitlity finds my Samsung drive and says it is now ms28, probably due to the fact of v5.2. I don't have via chipsets. I have another computer, but I only have SATA drives and that computer only hase IDE RIAD. Am I at a stand still?

Hi,

Why are you trying to get your samsung drive detected in windows? You do not flash the sammys through windows, I advise you check the tutorial again for samgsung drives and bad flash recovery method.

Cheers

You need the 0800 disc for both things you're trying to accomplish:

1. 0800 is necessary for drive to be visible in Windows
2. 0800 is necessary to reflash the drive

Further to Textbooks reply;
3. Or you can get yourself a VT6421A or VT6421L chipset PCI card and use the bad-flash method

Thanks for the replies guys. Keep up the good work. I'm assuming it is onboard SATA/RAID drive where I can't shut RAID of or nothing work correctly. I've modded with the VIA chips before so I just bought that and a kreon drive to make my life a little easier. Hey Textbook, Michigan eh? Northern Michigan?
