xecuter 2.6ce in a 1.1 box, ive tried many bios` and every time box freezes after disc lable is read.

Ok heres ALL the info.
Back in november i accidentally renamed my softmodded 1.1box evoxdash.xbe to msdash.xbe thinking i could have it boot to the original dash (i know im an idiot). Nontheless it wont boot now. Well i ordered a xecuter 2.6ce and finally got it installed. Everything works fine except when i try and flash it. Tried http but keep getting a " no or limited conectivity " (firewall is turned off) and cant access the chip via internet explorer. Tried load bios from hard drive, cant get it from hdd (go figure ...). Tried cd/dvd and same problem, pop in disc and it wont go any farther than reading the disc lable. ive tried 100 - 650 meg dummy files and countless bioses (trying with x2 3035 old). flash protect is off, and bank one is selected on external switch. Is there something im forgetting????

so you can ftp to your xbox is x2 bios in a folder called "bios"
when you done cd flash did you rename the bios to "bios.bin"
have you tryed firefox to http flash

Yes flash protect is off. I even tried it with it on (just in case)
try a boot dvd like auto installer deluxe 3 or slayer to ftp to your xbox place x2 bios in a folder called "bios" place it in c:/ folder of xbox do a hard drive flash

how do i boot from a disc? ive got slayers 2.6 and auto instaler deluxe, i put them in and restart and neither boot up.
yes i could ftp during the softmod but the dash wont load. is there a way to ftp without the dash loading?
i use x2 bios manager to make the bios file. I use x2 3035 512k old in the first two banks and then use flashbios for banks 3 and 4. Then make a large dummy file and burn it using nero express on a hp cdr buring at the lowest speed possible. i put in the cd after choosing flash via disk and right after the disk label is read nothing else happends (not even "no bios found"). when i put in someother non bios cd, it says no bios found. Ive tried hp cdr, staples dvdr, and maxell dvdr, nothing works!!! am i not buring it right? do i need to trun it into an iso file before buring?? Im about ready to chuck the chip and by an exodus....

Xbox is fixed!!!!! The problem was that not only was my copy of Nero7 Premium buged, I allso didnt turn off Joliet. Burned a copy of x2 5035 and flashbios303, flashed chip, poped in AID 3 and everything was clean a simple!!
Finaly 7 months of agony is over!!!
