Need help please: Installed X3 Chip (Solder less), X3 Control Panel, XLCD. Soldered HD, LAN, and DO. Xbox version 1.0. Flashed the legal bios (because I didn’t know any better) and all we were getting was the flash bios screen and better utilize the X3 chip.

Then I read the posts in the forum and learned I needed to get a hacked bios and it would allow us to get to the settings screen so that we could enable the XLCD. I used the xbin tool and downloaded what I thought was the correct hacked bios (X3_3294). During the flashing – it halted and there was an error message (erase failed). We had to shut it down and now it won’t let us into the flash menu. After a quick tap on tap on the power button the display goes red, blue and the eject button blinks red and green. No video or sound and the X logo is blue. Looks like we corrupted the bios. How can I reflash? My kids are going to "kill me" if I don't get it working again. The xbox games still work.

Any help would be apreaciated.

Thanks,

Joe

Somewhere
Hold the power and eject buttons at the same time to boot to the backup bios and reflash. Make sure you have the switches set to on on off off off.
