Bios flashing problem with 2914

Hey guys,

I installed teh X3 chip on a V1.0-1.5 model. Installing went fine...however, when i was loading up the new bios 2914...it did not work .. i set the switches right, on on off off off...and it finsihed flashing the bios and turned off as usual but then when i tried turning it back on it would turn on and then off right away did it three times and then its blue light and hd light it on.....also blinking red and green on the eject button wit nothin on the tv...what could this b? i checked around searching on the fourm but did not know exactly what to look for...thanks


also the 2913 bios is flashing and it stops 3/4 of the way now and its bank is set at off off on off off...so what is the problem in this case?

nevermind i got it working its all good but at the moment the hard drive led light keeps on readin...is there a reason fo this cause my v1.6 box does not do this

What was the problem you fixed ?

Check the solder pin-point you made for the hdd under the mobo.

Do some reading, try Xbins, and dont ask for it here !!

its cause i put the wrong bios disc in the drive i had the 1.6 by accident i shoulda looked b 4 but i got it fixed except the light which keeps on blinkin...is it caue the bios loaded up on the 1.5 box wit a 1.6 bios ?
