I'm a noob and I just need some help flashing my X3. Its installed with the control panel and the solderless adapter, everything boots up fine to the BIOS flashing screen, i have the auto protect off on the switches and the first and second switchs on for a 1mg flash. I pick disc load and i put in my disc tha i made following team xecuters tutorials perfectly, by the way its a CD-RW. I put the disk in and I hear it spinning and trying to load but all the screen says is "Please insert CD- Flashing Mode" but i have a new samsung drive that has always worked great and still plays games but nothing changes and it just says that, i put the disc in and out about 20 times and nothing. Also I have a v1.1 box. If anyone knows anything about this please help me thanks.

All I can guess is you didn't burn right...

If I were you, and since you have an X3 and all, I'd ftp my bios onto the hd and flash from disc.
(Can you FTP into your box? booting flashbios right? Or are you booting into X3CL? I'm confusing myself now...)

Good luck...

Well I am booting into flashbios but I can't find a tutorial to show me how to ftp my xbox without already having the bios or new dash loaded, if someone could give me a link for that it would be great, thanks.

You can't ftp a "first " bios you must http it. Try searching http, there are some good tutorials on how to do this.
