I just installed my first x3 chip and everything seems to boot fine. When I do a quick power on, I don't seem anything though. I was looking for a bios flashing guide. Is there one available?

Figured out the problem. I had the hi-def pack plugged in and was using the green cable to give me a black and white signal from a composite hook-up. Found a regular composite xbox cable and it works fine. And I found the bios flashing tutorial.

Help on flashing Xbox 360 ( Hitachi rom version 0047DJ )

Hi! I'm having trouble during my flashing process. I went ahead and opened up my 360 case and burned me a CD-R Slax 2.1 cd. Unfortunately, I'm stuck from this point on and have these questions in mind...

1 . Is my Sata wire that's on-board my Asus P5N-D Motherboard compatible for the flashing process?
2 . Do I have to have a certain Xbox 360 firmware before flashing? (All I know is that it's the old style theme where avatars don't exist yet)
3 . Is my disk drive rom version 0047DJ compatible for flashing? If so, what files are needed and steps required to do the job?
4 . Is there anything I should be aware before flashing Xbox 360? (Includes voltage help, etc.)

Thanks very much in advance!

Re: Help on flashing Xbox 360 ( Hitachi rom version 0047DJ )

Hey thank you very much for replying back ! But I'm currently stuck again at the Slax ( 2.1 ) part.
When I turn on the pc, and open my cd tray to enter slax cd, I then turn on my xbox 360 however the screen shows error please insert system disk and press enter ( On computer monitor ).
I tried both a cd-r ( memorex ) and a dvd-r ( maxell ) , however both shows same results. I thinking it's something with the bios screen.

What I've done was to disable all my boot up's except for the cd drive in my bios.

Can you help me setup my bios screen? Because I belive there is something not allowing me to run the cd while its booting. I noticed that with the xbox 360 on and while i'm on bios screen it does show the cd drive in sata 1 ( sata 2 is my dvd drive in my computer , and ide is my hard drive ). Does slax only affect changes on the disk drive on the 360 and not the hard drive right?

Do you have a link of a tutorial step-by-step that explains how to go through this whole process? All I manged to find was non 47dj's.

I don't know where is a tutorial for my 0047dj =(

I read that I don't need slax anymore is that true?

Re: Help on flashing Xbox 360 ( Hitachi rom version 0047DJ )

Ok i posted this in another topic;
http://www.360mods.net/index.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&p=137048#137048

I've done everything in the JungleFlasher tutorial, read the troubleshooting 100 times and also other sites aswell as watching videos here and on youtube, so far i've done everything right and i just can't get this bloody hitachi to be recognised in windows or by my BIOS.

Does anyone know whether the following chipsets are compatible?

Intel(R) ICH10 Family 2 port Serial ATA Storage Controller 2 - 3A26
Intel(R) ICH10 Family 4 port Serial ATA Storage Controller 1 - 3A20

Help would be greatly appreciated :)
