kay chip installed, machine turns on, blue screen of glory, but no way to move about the menu because it's not recognizing the controller or something. I checked all my cnnections, and my ports are hooked inside propely. Anyon else have this happen and how did you overcome the problem?
Bios flashng no controller support

some aftermarket controllers, as well as very very few but random official xbox controllers dont work with flashbios... no one knows why as far as i know. also make sure you are using the D-Pad, the analog sticks wont do anything in flashbios, config live, and most dashboards. but they work in games from hard drive.

ctually it turned out that the chip the ports plug into was loose, thanks a lot though! I have a brand new problem now.
i'm getting an "UnknownFlash! haltng" message whenever I upload my bios. I'm using x3 3294. Should i graba diffent bios?

if its x3 chip that bios makes the most of the chip. if your using http flash you shouldnt need to rename it to bios.bin, make sure its unzipped of course. and make sure its the right one, 3294 for 1.0-1.5 and 3294 v16 for 1.6 and 1.6b, also make sure dips are set to 1meg bios, aka on on off off off for bank 1-4, and off on off off off for 5-8
"Unknown Flash! Halting" means that the chip is flash protected, both flash protect switches on the chip itself and on the front panel switch should be off...
