BIOS Help for 2.6 Lite CE

I'm new here, and I've been soaking up all this information for months so I'm not a complete dumbass. Anyways, I want to use an Xecuter BIOS and i really want to color mod it so I know if I load a game and I have the modded bios, but whenever i open an Xecuter BIOS in XBtool, it says "Loaded XXXX.bin" and below it it says "Unsupported Kernel". In all but the latest beta build (5035) I get that, because when I load the latest one i get "Kernel Extraction Failed". Is this something I should be worried about if the kernel is unsupported?, because i also want to change the boot partitions and executables so i can load xbmc as my default dash. If someone could could tell me the order of either these boots (1. evox.xbe 2.avalaunch.xbe etc..) That would be great. I can live without the color mod. I just want to know which one to use and how it works. Thanks ~NAte

use 5035
you use the config file to change the colour and boot in 5035 bios open the config file in x2 config maker and change boot as well as colour save config then ftp it to you E:/ folder of xbox

thanks a bunch but now when i start up i get my cool red and blue flubber but no xbox logo, any help there? i checked over all my settings and display 'tm' is checked. once again thanks. ~NAte

so you checked your setting in x2 config maker
there in cosmetic settings

i'll try it, ive been using X2_5030Editor.exe and ive also tried X2ool.exe

nope still no x, think i might just make it al black so it blends in

do you need it to play your xbox no so dont worry about it
the faster you get to your dash the better
