Hi, I have a bit of a problem...I accidentally flashed over my "Cromwell" bios and I'd like to get it back. Here's my setup :

XBox 1.6b.
Banks 1+2 (on,on,off,off) have my X3 Build 2913 Bios.
Bank 4 (off,off,off,on) HAD my 3.0.3 bios.
Backup bank has 3.0.1, came with my X3 but is useless due to the fact that my box is a 1.6b.

So, I was trying to upgrade to build 2914, but I had the jumpers set to bank 4 (off, off, off,on). It wrote over my 3.0.3 and hung because there wasn't enough room for 2914. Stupid me.

I can still boot to my 1,2 banks of build 2913....so I'm not completely dead.

My questions are, can I re-flash bank 4 with 3.0.3 (which I have on CD) from the X3 menus? And if so, what settings should I use? There are options for "Flash Main Rom", "Flash Backup ROM", "Bios Bank Select". I'm not sure if I need to select something in the "Bios Bank Select" or if I can just set the jumper and use "Flash Main Rom"? Needless to say, I don't want to make anything worse.

And I guess, since there's a "Flash Backup Rom" option, can I just use this to overwrite my older 3.0.1 with a more useful 3.0.3? Are any specific jumper settings needed?

Thanks for any insights anyone can provide.

yeah, use the flash backup rom option and then direct it to the directory that you have placed flashbios 3.0.3 *(I assume you know how to ftp files into xbox)

Thanks, I was able to flash my backup Bios to a usable version and restore things to normal. But I'm still confused about the "Bios Bank Select" options. When would I ever need to use these?
