Heres my delima. I have a Xecuter 2.6 CE chip, I flashed the BIOS with X2 4977 BIOS then loaded up SlaYers EvoX Auto-Installer v2.6. I have a 200GB hard drive that is only being read at 137GB. I just got the X2 5032 512K BIOS which supports the greater than 137GB HDD's and need to flash the chip again. But i'm having the hardest time trying to do this. I've put the 5032 bios in the X2 BM and filled up both banks, saved the image as BIOS.bin, loaded it up in Nero with a 300mb dummy file, with the correct nero setting and burned the disc. Then put the disc in the Xbox but it wouldn't read it. I've tried putting the 5032 in bank 1 and the FlashBIOS 3.01 and 3.03 in the remaining 512K but that didn't work either. Can some please help me out, its the last step I need to do and i'll be done!! Thanks

Don't use 5032, use 5035. Don't make a 1 meg file. Just flash with 5035. Be sure to use the proper version for your Xbox. Try flashing via http.

I have a V1.1-1.5 xbox, i've tried using just the bios file in the 512k Bios.bin file made with X2 BM but I can't get to the flashBISO screen. Because I can't get to the flashBIOS 3.03 screen I can't use any other opotions to flash the chip with. How can I get to that screen? right now i have BIOS 4977 on the chip.

Ok, so how do I make the CD with the flashX2 file on it and what else do I need to put on it? And do I make it into an ISO or just but the .bins on the disc.

Ok, so I would put the contents of the RAR file of the 5035 BIOS on to the BIOS folder onthe Xbox though FTP. Which folder is that on which drive on the xbox? Then I would run Flashx2 from the dash which i'm assuming I need to install on the Xbox? How do I do that? I'm also using Avalaunch Dashboard if thatr helps.

I found a file that lets me flash. Its called EurAsia Pro Generic Flash Disc v1.3 It loaded up and asked for a disc with the BIOS on it. Now I have the X2 5035 BIOS, it comes with an x2config.ini file on it. Does that file need to be on the disc with the BIOS.bin file and the dummy file? Also, the 5035 comes with a V16plus512k and vOld_512k i'm assuming v16Plus is the one to use? And I just read that its A flash disc tool based on Linux and custom raincoat 0.5+ for xbox. Will that be ok even though i'm using windows?

Use v16plus for a 1.6/1.6b and use vOld for 1.0-1.5. The config files goes in your F root. You will have to FTP or copy it over there. To make an xISO, download Qwix. To make a bios flashing disc, look at the flashbios link in my sig.

I have a Bios flashing disc I got from Xbins, its [font=verdana, arial, helvetica]EurAsia Pro Generic Flash Disc v1.3. My only questions is, in the readme it says "A flash disc tool based on Linux and custom raincoat 0.5+ for xbox". Because its based on Linux can I still use it even though i'm running Windows?

Thanks, how to I execute the file after I put it on the xbox HDD? Will it show up under applications in the Avalaunch Dashboard? Also where can I get flashx2? I found flashx3 but not x2.

I found a program called FlashX_v1.2-XECUTER. I put that on my xbox F: drive because the E drive didn't have th apps folder. I made a BIOS folder and put the BIOS in there, launched the dashboard, and started the program but the system froze so i'm assuming thats not the program I needed.
