BIOS HELP

hello

I have 1.6 xbox , xecuter 2.6 ce. I made 1 mega bios file 512 with x2cl 5035 and 512 with 3.03 cornwall , and just after flashing I realized I needed to flash the 3.01 because I have 1.6 xbox.

so my question is how can I flash again because I dont have now the flashbios screen (the blue screen ) on any bios????!?!

get a program called Flash X from xbins run it as an app on your box

you'll need to make a folder called bios with the bios of your choice in it and ftp it over the root of any drive (c,e,f,g)

power down and disable flash protection, boot up and run the program, it will prompt you to select which bank you want to flash, and to select which drive the bios folder is on

You can do this exactly how MK said. FlashX runs on your Xbox and allows you to flash your bios. The nice thing about FlashX is that it allows you to pick which bank you want to flash to.

When you get the rocks my box, does it just sit there then? If so, you don't have a dashboard on your hard drive. Go to xbins and download avalaunch and one of the hard drive prep files. (The evolutionx one will work fine, if you know how to use torrents, you can get slayer's if you want.)

Then download Qwix from teamavalaunch.com. Run Qwix, and convert the evolutionx folder to an iso. Burn it to a CD-RW or a DVD-R or a DVD+R. Put that in your xbox drive, power it down and then power it back up again (with the 5035 BIOS active.) It should boot to evolutionx and be running an FTP server. Then FTP into your box (ip on the screen, xbox/xbox) and copy avalaunch into a directory on the E drive. (E:\avalaunch\). Then, edit the ini file that came with the 5035 bios to change the first line of dashboards to be e:\avalaunch\default.xbe

Copy the ini file to the root of the E drive.

Kick out the boot disk and reboot, and avalaunch should come up. Now FTP flash x to the e:\apps and reboot.

Then select apps from avalaunch's menu and select flash x and you'll be good to go.
