bios help

hi there,
umm im kinda stuck, i have installed the xecuter 2.6 modchip in my 1.4 xbox, at first i had a lot of trouble flashing my bios as the thompson drvie i have wont read the cd-rws i was trying to use. i finally flashed it using network flashing, the xbox shut off like it said it would, so i switched it back on,

on bootup it says xecuter2 congfig live loading... then xbox signs comes up with xecuter rox m box underneath. (now im gessing this is all spose to happen) and then is goes to the standard ms dash.

my question is really, what should i do now?
any help would be ideal

backup your xbox hard drive then install dash and apps
Auto installer delux 2 dvd has a lot of dash you can pick from and apps as well or you can try slayer evox dash installer 2.6 that has evox dash and most apps as well as xbmp (old) but can not pick whitch one to install all on dvd you will need these dvd to ftp your xbox to backup your H/D just put in dvd try and boot up xbox and they will give you your xbox ip

hey, sorry taken so long to say thanks for this but i havnt been able to get on coz of work. but thanks anyways .

right, my main problem is that my drive wont read cd-r or cd-rws, and i have no way of writing dvds, which is a kinda major problem .
is there anyway i can get around this,

CD-RW worked for my drive.
I used "memorex 4x"

may have to try diff cd-rw
